Sympathetic Resonances
is an installation in six parts. Each part is expressed in music, video and digital prints. The music and video is designed so that four parts are played at the same time yet independently from each other. This allows the installation to constantly shift over time, never repeating.
Two Faced Blues
is a visual/musical conversation between my right and left hands. Using scanned original guache and ink paintings I have mapped my left hand to the left side of the screen and my right hand to the right side of the screen. Performing the music animates the characters.
Harmonic Shadows
explores the visualization of harmony. The five triptychs of digital prints are all created from the performance of musical chords. The video shows how the notes of the chords interact to create a depth and density that is a representation of harmonic movement and development.
